Green Day is a American Rock Band formed in East Bay of
California in 1987 by Billie Joe Armstrong Lead Vocalist/ Guitarist
together with Mike Dirnt Bassist / B/V for most of the Bands
Career they have been a Power Trio with Drummer Tre Cool who
replaced John Kiffmeyer in ( 1990 ) before recording the bands
second Studio Album Kerplunk ( 1991 ) Green Day has sold 75
million records worldwide Genres Punk Rock / Pop Rock / Skate
Punk / Alternative Rock & Power Pop . In 2010 a Stage Adaptation
of American Idiot debuted on Broadway . The band was Inducted
