Dream Theatre is American Progressive Metal Band formed
in 1985 under the name Majesty by John Petrucci / John Myung/
& Mike Portnoy while they attended Berklee College of music in
Boston Massachusetts. They subsequently dropped out of studies
to concentrate further on the band that would eventually became
Dream Theatre . Over the course of various Line Up changes ,
Petrucci & Myung have been the only two constant members.
To date Dream Theatre has released Fifteen Studio albums.
Debut Studio Album When Dreams & Days Unite ( 1989 ) The
Bands highest selling selling release is their Second Studio
Album Images & Words ( 1992 ). As of 2018 Dream Theatre
has sold over 12 Million Records Worldwide & has received 3
Grammy Awards Nominations ( Including one win in 2022 )
