Mike & The Mechanics are an English Rock Supergroup formed in
Dover 1985 . Mike Rutherford initially as a side project during a
hiatus period from his other Group Genesis . The band are know
for the Hit Singles Silent Running , All I Need Is A Miracle , Taken In ,
The Living Years , Word Of Mouth & Over My Shoulder Genres Rock /
Pop Rock & Contemporary Rock . Years Active 1985 -2004 & 2010-
2023 . The Single Living Years reached No. 1 in the US & No. 2 UK.
Over several months of 2009 & 2010 Mike Rutherford formed a New
Band despite there being no hope of the Original Group ever reforming.
He opted to again us the Mike & The Mechanics . Name . A new Album
The Road . & Hit The Road Tour were announced in November 2010.
The Album was released in April 2011. In April 2017 there 8th Studio
Album Let Me Fly & there 9th Studio Album out of the Blue ( 2019 )
