Joseph Leonard Bonamassa Born May 8th 1977 in New Hartford
New York & grew up in Utica New York . He started playing at
the age of 4 years old . His Dad a big music fan exposed him to
British Blues Rock records by Eric Clapton & Jeff Beck who has
sadly Died & will be sadly missed greatly inspired him at 11 years
old . Joe was mentored & trained by American Guitar Legend
Danny Gatton . He started his Career at the age of Twelve , when
he opened for BB King at approximately Twenty Shows in 1989 .
Joe Debut Studio Album A New Day Yesterday was released in
2000 . It featured original tunes & covers of Artists the late Rory
Gallagher , Jethro Tull & Warren Haynes the Album featured a
guest appearance by Greg Allman on the song If Heartaches
Were Nickels & was produced by Tom Dowd . The Album reached
No9 on the Billboard Blues Chart . Since 2000 Joe has released
16 Solo Albums through his Independent Record Label J & R
Adventures . Of which 11 have reached No 1 on the Billboard
Blues Charts . Joe has played alongside many notable Blues &
Rock Artists & has earned three Granny Awards Nominations .
Among Guitarists he is known for his extensive collection of
vintage Guitars & Amplifiers . In 2020 Joe Bonamassa created
Keeping Blues Alive Records . An Independent Record Label .
That promotes & support the Talent of Blues Musicians current
Artist Dion DiMucci , Joanne Shaw Taylor , Joanna Connor &
Larry Mc Cray & others . Joe produces & collaborates on many
of the projects . Genres Blues Rock & Hard Rock Years Active
