John Andrew Wilkinson Born 12 July 1947 Canvey Island Essex.
& sadly Died on 21 November 2022 . He was amazing Guitarist
& will be sadly missed. Better know by the Stage Name Wilko
Johnson was an English Guitarist / Singer / Songwriter &
occasional Actor . He was a member of the Pub Rock & Rhythm
& Blues Band Dr Feelgood . Wilco was known for his distinctive
Guitar playing style which he achieved by not using a Guitar Pick
but playing Fingerstyle . This enabled him to play Rhythm Guitar
& Riffs on Solo at the same time creating a Highly Percussive
Guitar sounds . Years Active 1970 – 2022. Genres Rock / Pub
Rock / Rhythm & Blues & Proto Punk . In 1980 joined Ian Dury’s
Band The Blockheads . Around 1984 he then re-formed The Wilco
Johnson Band & was joined by Blockheads Bassist Norman Watt-
Ray ( A brilliant Bassist ) & Italian Born Drummer Salvator Ramundo
who left the Band in June 1999. Wilco for his acting Debut was
cast in the role of Mute Executioner Ser llyn Payne in both First &
Second season of HBO Fantasy Series of Game Of Throne . Dr
