RAPTURE OF THE DEEP TOUR
Deep Purple are a British Hard Rock Band Originally from Hertford.
Formed in London in 1968 . They are considered to be among the
Pioneer’s of Heavy Rock & Modern Hard Rock . But their Musical
Approach has changed over the years . Originally formed as a
Psychedelic Rock & Progressive Rock Band . They shifted to a
Heavy Sound with their 1970 Studio Album Deep Purple In Rock .
Deep Purple ( Together with Led Zeppelin & Black Sabbath ) Have
been referred to as the Holy Trinity of British Hard Rock & Heavy Metal
in the early to Mid Seventies . They are listed in the 1975 Guinness
Book Of World Records . As the Globe’s Loudest Band for a 1972
Concert at London Rainbow Theatre . & have sold over 100 Million
Albums Worldwide . Deep Purple have had several Line Up changes &
were Broken Up for Eight Years from 1975 – 1984 . With Drummer Ian
Paice being the Bands only constant member .With all the changes they
have had some Amazing Musicians Ritchie Blackmore Lead Guitar
( Blackmore Nights Band ) John Lord Keyboards ( Sadly Died in 2012 )
will be sadly missed . David Coverdale Lead Guitar ( Whitesnake Band )
They have released 22 Studio Albums & they haver done 30 Tours
