The Pierces are an American Los Angles based Band consisting of
Sisters Allison Margaret Pierce Born 22nd July 1975 & Catherine
Eleanor Pierce Born September 12th 1977 in Birmingham Alabama.
They travelled frequently & frequently & received home schooling
from their self descripted Hippie Parents. Their Father played Guitar
in various Bands while their Mother was a Painter . Exposed to Music
& Art at a Early Age . The Pierce Sisters grew up Listening to the
Beatles , Joni Mitchell & Simon & Garfunkel . As children they were
encouraged to explore their Creative Side & would Perform at Parties,
Weddings & Churches . Alison started Dancing at the age of 3years &
both sisters are accomplished Ballet Dancers . It was while attended
Auburn University that a friend sent a Tape to a record company in
Nashville . This eventually resulted in their Debut Studio Album The
Pierces ( 2000 ). It featured Folk Harmonies & Adult Alternative
Songs . On August 10th ( 2004 ) their second Studio Album Light Of
The Moon was released through Universal & on March 20th (2007 )
Their Third Studio Album Thirteen Tales Of Love & Revenge. They have
done 5 Studio Albums & 2 Live Albums Years Active 2000 -2023
