The Australian Pink Floyd Show more frequently know as The
Australian Pink Floyd is a Pink Floyd Tribute Band of the Highest
Order Formed In 1988 in Adelaide South Australia . Employing
Visual Aids such as Lasers / Inflatables & a Large Display Panel
similar to Mr Screen / The Australian Pink Floyd Shows Venues
Worldwide . The Band is noted for replicating the nuances of Pink
Floyd work Steve Mac Guitar Rig closely resembles David Gilmore
& includes elements custom produced by Peter Cornish who worked
with Gilmour . The Band associates itself with individuals who have
worked with Pink Floyd over the years including Colin Norfield who
worked as Sound Engineer for Gilmour in his Solo Career & for Pink
Floyd during their 1994 Division Bell Tour & Clive Brooks & Nick
Mason ‘s long time Drum Technician. The Show includes a Round
Screen with Intelligent Lights arranged around the perimeter. During
a Concert Movies , Animations are displayed on the screen
complementing the Bands Light Show inflatables ( Such a Pig used by
Pink Floyd during The Division Bell Tour & Skippy own Giant Pink
Kangaroo & named after the Australian TV Series Skippy the Bush
Kangaroo & frequently employed also blow up Teacher from The Wall.
In the band shows . Though various Musicians have come & gone
over the years . The Australian Pink Floyd Show continues to base
around it’s three longest serving members Steve Mac . Colin Wilson
& Jason Sawford . Years Active 1988 – 2023 . Label Black Hill Pictures
