Led Zeppelin were an English Rock Band Formed in London 1968. The
Group Comprised of Vocalist Robert Plant . Guitarist Jimmy Page ,
Bassist & Keyboardist John Paul Jones & Drummer / Percussionist
John Bonham . With a heavy Guitar -driven sound , they are Cited as
one of the Progenitors of Hard Rock & Heavy Metal although their
Style drew from a variety of influences including Blues & Folk Music .
Led Zeppelin have been credited as significantly impacting the
Nature of the Music Industry , particularly in the development of
Album oriented Rock ( AOR ) & Stadium Rock . Originally named
The New Yardbirds , Led Zeppelin signed a deal with Atlantic
Records that gave then considerable artistic freedom . Initially
unpopular with the Critics , they achieved significant commercial
success with Eight Studio Albums over Ten Years . Their 1969
Debut Studio Album Led Zeppelin was a top Album in Several
Countries & featured such tracks as ” Good Times Bad Times “,
” Dazed & Confused ” & ” Communication Breakdown ” . Led
Zeppelin 2 (1969 ) was their First Number one Album & yielded
” Whole Lotta Love & ” Ramble On ” . In 1970 released their
Third Studio Album Led Zeppelin lll which featured ” Immigrant
Song ” Their untitled Fourth Studio Album commonly know as
Led Zeppelin lV ( 1971 ) is one of the Best Selling Albums in
History with 37 million copies sold . The Album includes ” Black
Dog ” ” Rock & Roll & Stairway To Heaven ” . With the later being
among the most Popular & Influential Works in Rock History .
Their Fifth Studio Album Houses Of The Holy ( 1973 ) Yielded
” The Song Remains The Same ” & ” Over The Hills & Far Away ”
Their Sixth Studio Album Physical Graffiti ( 1975 ) A double
Studio Album featuring ” The Rover & Kashmir ” Page Composed
most of Led Zeppelin Music , particularly early in their career ,
while Plant wrote most of the Lyrics . Jones Keyboard based
Compositions . Later became central to their Music , which
Featured increasing experimentation . The later half of their career
saw a series of Record Breaking Tours . Years Active 1968 -1980 .

Bonham’s Death , the Band believed that nobody could take his
place & decided not to continue . John Bonham was Amazing
Drummer & will be sadly missed . His Son Jason Bonham is also
