The Script are an Irish Rock Band Formed in 2001 in Dublin Ireland by
Lead Vocalist & Guitarist Danny O’ Donoghue , Lead Guitarist Mark Sheehan
& Drummer Glen Power . The Band moved to London after Signing to Sony
Label Group Imprint Phonogenic & Released their Debut Studio Album
The Script in Aug. 2008 preceded by their Debut Single ” We Cry ” as well
as other Singles such as ” The Man Who Can’t Be Moved ” ” Breakeven ” &
” Before The Worst ” . The album peaked at Number 1. in Ireland & England.
Their next 3 Studio Albums 2nd Studio Album Science & Faith ( 2010 ) 3rd
Studio Album #3 ( 2012 ) & their 4th Studio Album No Sound Without
Silence ( 2014 ) . All Topped the Album Charts in Ireland & the UK. while
Science & Faith reached number 2 in Australia & number 3 in U.S.A . Some
of the Hit Singles from the Album include ” For The First Time ” ” Nothing ”
” Hall Of Fame ” & ” Superheroes ” . The Bands 5th Studio Album Freedom
Child was released on 1st Sept. 2017 & featuring the UK. Top 20 Single
Rain . Their 6th Studio Album Sunsets & Full Moons was released on 8th
Nov 2017 & featuring the Single ” The Last Time ” A Greatest Hits Album
was released on Oct 2021 . Front Danny O’ Donoghue was also a Coach
on the Voice UK. for Seasons 1 & 2 before leaving the show in order to
Focus more on the Band . The Band has won 3 Metour Ireland Music
Awards & Two World Music Awards & have received 2 Brit Awards
Nominations . The Script have Sold over 20 Million Albums Worldwide.
On 14th April 2023 Irish Band Co Founder Mark Sheehan Died of a
Brief Illness at the Age of 46. He was amazing Lead Guitarist & a
Fantastic Musician . So very Sad & will be Sadly Missed . Years Active
