Daniel Francis Noel O’ Donnell MBE Born 12th September 1961
in Kincasslagh County Donegal Ireland Age 62 . Is a Singer Song-
writer , Television Presenter & Philanthropist. Years Active 1980 –
2024 . Genres Country , Easy Listening & Folk . As a youngster Daniel
Performed in a Local Religious Choir in 1980 . In 1980 he went to
Galway to purse Business Studies however he never settled down &
by Christmas he was in his Sister Margo’s Band . Margo had already
forged a successful Career in Ireland ” Daniel Rise To Fame .Not getting
enough opportunities to perform Solos with the Band . In 1983 Daniel
decided to record his own Record on February his first single Johnny
Mc Cauley’s ” My Donegal Shore ” with £ 1 ,200 of his own money ,
selling all the copies himself . Later that year he formed his own musical
Group Country Fever . After the Group disbanded he formed The
Grassroots . In 1985 the manager of the Ritz Label Mick Clerkin , saw
him Perform & Introduced him to Sean Reilly who remained till he died
in 2023 was such a good friend to Daniel O Donnell & will be Sadly missed .
Dannell has just come of a Australian Tour . The Blackpool Gig was his
Last arranged Gig till next Year & last from his Late Manager . Under his
Management of Sean Reilly Daniel O’ Donnell has become a house hold
Name across Ireland & Great Britain . He appeared on popular Television
Shows in both countries during his lengthy career Daniel O’ Donnell has
made Friends with his childhood Idols Cliff Richards & Loretta Lynn . He
also forged a close Professional Relationship with Irish Singer Mary Duff
who regular Tours with Daniel in 2002 he was awarded Honorary ( Became
of his Irish Citizenship MBE for his Services to the Music . He has done 40
Albums & 20 of them were UK. Top 40 Albums as well as Fifteen Top 40
Singles & has sold 10 Million Records to Date . In 2015 Daniel O Donnell
became the first to have charted at least one New Album in 28 Consecutive
Years ( 1998 – 2015 ) When his Latest Album The Hank Williams Songbook
Entered the UK Album Chart at Number 5. . A Daniel O’ Donnell Visitors
Centre was Opened In Donegal in May 2012 which displays all his Gold
Discs Awards & Wedding Suit . In Autumn 2015 he Appeared on Strictly
Come Dancing . He was Eliminated Third In Week Four of the Series Line Up
