Cradle Of Filth are an English Extreme Metal Band Formed in Suffolk
in 1991 . The Bands Musical Style evolved originally from Black to a
Cleaner & more produced anagram of Gothic Metal , Symphonic
Metal & other Metal Genres. Their lyrical themes & Imagery are
Heavily Influenced by Gothic Theatre , Poetry , Mythology &
& Horror Films . An album Goetia was prior to the Third Demo &
Set for Release on Tombstone Records . But all Tracks were
wiped when Tombstone Records went out of business & the
Band could not afford to buy the recordings from the Studio.
The Band eventually signed Cacophonous Records & their
Debut Studio Single ” The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh was
Cacophonous First release in 1994 . The Album was well received.
Cradle relationship with Cacophonous soon soured . The Band
finally signed to Music Nation in 1996 which lasted to 2001 Then
Sony Interlude ( 2001 – 2004 ). Then move to Roadrunner ( 2004-
2010 ) .Then Peaceville Records ( 2010 – 2014 ) . Then Nuclear
Blast Records 2014 – 2022 ). Then Napalm Records ( 2022 -2024)
They have done 13 Studio Albums . Years Active ( 1991 – 2024 )
