August Burns Red is an American Metal core Band from Lancaster
Pennsylvania Formed in 2003 . The Bands Line up of Guitarists
Benjamin ” JB ” Brubaker & Brent Rambler , Drummer Matt Greiner
Lead Vocalist Jake Luhrs Lead Vocals & Bassist Dustin Davidson
has remained consisted since 2006 . The Band was nominated for
a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Metal Performance for the Song
Identity from it’s 7th Studio Album ” Found In Far Away Places ”
( 2015 ) & again for Invisible Enemy from it’s 8th Studio Album
” Phantom Anthem ” ( 2017 ) The Band have released Ten Studio
Albums to date. Their Latest ” Death Below ” was released on
March 24th 2023. History August Burns Red was founded in
March 2003 when all the members were attending High School .
The original practice sessions of the Band began in Drummer Matt
Greiner old egg house & the basement on the Greiner Family Farmland.
After playing many local shows within Lancaster . They recorded their
first EP. Titled ” Look Fragile After All ” with Label CI Records . In 2004
August Burns Red signed to Solid State Records . In 2005 August Burns
Red Released their Debut Album ” Thrill Seeker on November 8th 2005.
The Bands Second Studio Album Messengers released on June 19th
2007 . Making the debut for Luhrs fronting the group as Lead Singer it
became the bands breakthrough Album reaching No 81 on Billboard
200. Through 2008 August Burns Red with several Acts across North
America & Europe to promote their second studio album ” Messengers”
