SUPPORT THE LONGEST JOHNS.

The Longest Johns are an English Folk Musical Group from Bristol. They are

known for Performing Folk Music & Sea Shanties in the English Tradition &

they compose & Record their own music . The Long Johns are the Twang of

the Banjo , the rumble of the Sousaphone & the ring of Spittoon , the Creek

of the Door , the Grow of the Rooster , the stooping of Floor Boards & the

Hammering of the chain Gang . They gained popularity from their rendition

of the Folk Song ” Wellerman which went Viral on Tik. Tok. in early 2021.

CAREER . The Longest Johns Formed in June 2012 after singing together at

a Friends Barbecue the original Line Up consisted Josh Bowker , Andy Yates,

Jonathan Darley & Dave Robinson . About a week Later , they posted their

first Video on You Tube Singing ” Hail Angry Joe ” . They released their Debut

EP. ” Bones in the Ocean ” in 2013 , the Title Track of which is still one of the

most popular . Their First Full Studio Album ” Written In Salt ” Released 17th

June 2016 Label Self Released they have done another Nine Studio Albums.

In June 2018 they released their Second Studio Album ” Between Wind &

Water ” which included ” Wellerman ” this recording as well as ” The One ”

used in Bands ” Sea Of Thieves Series ” ” Open Crew Sing ” would later fuel

The Sea Shanity viral trend , principally on Tik. Tok. in early 2021 . In January

2021 , they signed a deal with Decca Records & United Talent Agency . A

year latter the Group released their First Album with Decca 6th Smoke &

Oakum released 28th January 2022 . There has been a few changes in the

Bellowhead is an English Contemporary Folk Band active 2004 -2016.

Reforming in 2020 . The Elven Piece Act played Traditional Dance

Tunes & Folk Songs & Shanties . With arrangements drawing inspiration

from a wide range of musical styles & influences . The band includes

Percussion & a Four Piece Brass Section . Bellowhead Band Members

Played more than 20 Instruments among them whilst all Performing

provided Vocals . The Band Parted after their Final Gig at Oxford Town

Hall in May 2016. In 2020 the Band reformed for a Reunion Concert &

In 2022 Played a Reunion Tour . There has been some changes in the
