The Reunion Tour was a 2007 -2008 Worldwide Concert Tour by The Police
marking the 30th Anniversary of their Beginning’s . reaching $360 Million. The
Tour began in May 2007 to overwhelmingly Positive Reviews from Fans &
Critics alike & ended in August 2008 with a Final Show at Madison Square
Gardens New York US. . On the Tour they did a total 152 shows over 9 Legs
5 in Asia , 39 Europe , 91 In North America , 9 in Oceania , 8 in Latin
America . HISTORY . The Police were an English Rock Band formed in London
in 1977 within a few months of their First Gig . The Line Up settled as Sting
Lead Vocals / Bass Guitar & Primary Songwriter . Andy Summers Lead Guitar
& Stewart Copeland & Drums & Percussion & remained unchanged for the
Bands History . The Police became Globally Popular from the Late 1970s to
the Mid 1980s , Emerging in the British New Wave Scene . They played a
Style of Rock influenced by Punk , Reggae & Jazz . Their 1978 Debut Album
” Outlandos D’ Amour ” reached No6 on the UK Album Chart & Contains the
Singles ” Roxanne ” & ” Can’t Stand Losing You ” . Their Second Studio
Album ” Reggatta De Blanc ( 1979 ) became the first of Four Consecutive
No1 Studio Albums in the UK. & Australia , it’s First Two Singles ” Message

Singles . Their next Two Albums ” Zenyatta Mondatta ( 1980 ) & ” Ghost In
The Machine ” ( 1981 ) . Led to further Critical & Commercial Success with
Two Songs ” Don’t Stand So Close To Me ” & ” Every Little Thing She Does
Is Magic ” became UK. Number One Singles & Top 5 Hits in Other Countries.
Their Fourth Album was their Breakthrough into the US. reaching Number
Five on the US, Billboard 200. Their Fifth Studio Album was their Finale
Studio Album ” Synchronicity ” ( 1983 ) was Number One in the UK. Canada,
Australia & Italy & the US. selling over 8 Million Copies in the US. . It’s Lead
Single ” Every Breath You Take ” ( A very catchy Single ) became their Fifth
UK. Number One & the only Number One In the US. . During this time the
Band were considered one of the Leaders of the Second British Invasion
of the US. . In 1983 Rolling Stones labelled them The First British New
Wave Act to break through in America on a Grand Scale & possibly the
Biggest Band in the World . The Police Disbanded In 1986 Periodically
reuniting for One Off Performances before Reuniting in Early 2007 for
a World Tour ending in 2008 . They were the Worlds Highest Earning
Musician’s in 2008 . Due to the reunion Tour which was the Highest
