The Offspring is an American Punk Rock Band Formed In Garden Grove
California in 1984 Originally formed under the name Manic Subsidal. The Band
consists of Vocalist & Guitarist Bryan ” Dexter ” Holland . Lead Guitarist Kevin
” Noodles ” Wasserman . Bassist Todd Morse . Multi Instrumentalist Jonay
Nimroy & Drummer & Percussion Brandon Pertzborn . The Offspring is often
credited ( Alongside ) Fellow California Punk Bands Green Day , NOFX , Bad
Religion , Rancid & Pennywise for Revving Mainstream interest in Punk Rock
in the Mid 1990’s . During their 40 Year Career , the Offspring has recorded
Elven Studio Albums & sold more than 40 Million Records making them one
of the Best Selling Punk Rock Bands . After achieving a Local Following with
there early releases , including their 1989 Self Titled Debut Studio Album &
the Vinyl only EP ” Baghdad ( 1991 ) . There has been many changes in the
Band over the years . The Offspring signed with Independent Label Epitaph
Records & released Two Studio Albums ” Ignition ” ( 1992 ) & ” Smash ”
( 1994 ) which contained the bands First Major Hit ” Come Out & Play ” is
one of the Best Selling Albums released on a Independent Record Label
selling over 11 Million Copies Worldwide . Helping to Propel Punk Rock into
the Mainstream , the success of Smash attracted attention from Major Labels
including Columbia Records . With whom the Offspring signed in 1996 for
the Label ” Lxnay On The Hombre ” ( 1997 ) did not match it’s predecessor’s
success , but received favourable reviews & Gold & Platinum RIAA Certify-
cations . The Band reached further success with it’s Fifth Studio Album
” Americana ( 1998 )from which three of the singles ” Pretty Fly ( For A Wise
Guy ) ” ” Why Don’t You Get A Job ? ” & ” The Kids Aren’t Alright ” became
mainstream Radio & MTV staples , with the Album managed to sell over
Five Million Units in the US. .Though the next two Albums ” Conspiracy Of
One ” ( 2000 ) & ” Splinter ” ( 2003 ) were not as successful as those from
the Previous Decade . They were both Critically Acclaimed with the former
going Platinum with the later being certified Gold . The Offspring Eighth
Studio Album ” Rise & Fall , Rage & Grace ” ( 2008 ) cemented their come-
back on the strength of it’s second Single ” Your Gonna Far Kid ” . Which
topped the Billboard Rock Charts for elven weeks & since obtained
Platinum status . The band released no New Studio Albums between ” Days
Go By ” ( 2012 ) & ” Let The Bad Times Roll ” but continued Touring &
released a series of one off songs in the Interim . Their Latest Album
” Supercharged ” was released on October 11 2024. They have done 11
