Vocalist with her Amazing Talented Band Also Jack Holder Rhythm ex. ex. ex.
HISTORY Ana Popovic is a Blues Singer & Guitarist from Serbia who currently
resides in the United States . Popovic was Born in 1976 in Belgrade her Father
Milton Popovic introduced her to the Blues & she started to play guitar when
she was Fifteen . Hush ( 1995 -1998) In 1995 she formed the Band Hush with
with Rade Popovic Guitar & Vocals , Milan Saric’ Bass Guitar & Bojan Lvkovic’
Drums . Hush performed Rhythm & Blues but also incorporated elements of
Funk & Soul into there sound. The Band had their first Performance in the
Club Vox in Belgrade & during 1996 Hush Performed across Serbia also
Performing in Greece . Thanks to their performance at the Marsoni Blues
Festival in Senta. Hush got the Invitation to Perform at the Fifth International
Blue / Jazz & Rock & Gastronomic Festival in Hungry . During 1998 Hush
Performed more than 100 Times , Playing in Blues Clubs & Festivals during
the same Year. They released their Debut Studio Album Hometown through
PGP -RTS . In 1998 Popovic went to the Netherlands to Study Jazz Guitar
& Hush Disbanded . Solo Career ( 1999 – Present ) Popovic Formed the Ana
Popovic in the Netherlands in 2000 . She appeared alongside Eric Burden ,
Taj Mahal , Buddy Miles , Double Trouble & Eric Gates & others on the Jimi
Hendrix Tribute Album . Songs of Jimi Hendrix with a Cover of the Song
Belly Button Wind ” . In 2001 she released her Solo Studio Album ” Hush ”
through the German Label Ruf Records . The Album was recorded in
Memphis with the members of Ana Popovic’s Band , as well as Studio
Musicians . In 2003 Popovic released her Second Studio Album ” Comfort
To The Soul ” ( 2003 ) she has done 11 Studio Albums & 3 DVD Ana ! Live
in Amsterdam ( 2005 ) , An Evening At Trasimeno Lake ( 2010 ) Live For
Live ( 2020 ) Genres Blues / Blues Rock & Soul Blues . Years Active ( 1995-
Present ) Labels Ruf / Electronic Grove & Artiste Xclusive . also in the Band
