PEANESS are a Band from Chester England Formed in 2013. Their all
Female Line Up is Balla Guitar & Vocals , Jess Bass Guitar & Vocals & Rach
Drums & Percussion . Their Sound has been described as Melodic Indie ,
DIY Punk & Shiny Pop with an Infectious Energy & Tunes as sharp as their
Fringes . Formation & Early Releases . The Band met at University Of
Chester & Formed in 2013 . Their name was chosen as a Joke. Jess said
it was a Joke name when it started off , & it just stuck because we couldn’t
think of anything better or worse for us , It’s just Funny , but for others it’s
Not , which makes it even Funny . The First release in 2015 was a Four
Track EP entitled ” No Fun ” in a positive review Bearded Magazine said
” An excellent short storey done & dusted in an Ultra – Compact 13 minutes,
the set more than sales the appetite before the arrival of the full length
novel ” . This was followed in by the 7″ Single ” I’m Not Your Problem ” /
” Fortune Favours The Bold ” on the Canadian Label Kingfisher Bluez .
In 2017 Peaness released the 10 track EP. ” Are You Sure ” on Alcopop
Records ,with Two Tracks ” Same Place ” ” Seafoam Island ” also
featuring on the 7″ Single on Odd Box Records ” Are You Shure ? ”
received mostly positive reviews . Invicta Magazine called it ” The perfect
collection of Tracks to soundtrack a Summer “. While Vulture – Hound
said it was ” A delightful introduction to one of UK’s most exciting New
Bands ” . In May 20 Peaness recorded a Session for Marc Riley’s Show
on The BBC Radio 6 Music . In May2022 Peaness released their Long
Waited Debut Studio Album ” World Full Of Worry ” ( WFOW ) on their

THE BETHS NEW ZEALAND.
The Beths are a New Zealand Indie Rock Band Formed in Auckland in
2014 . The Group consists of Lead Vocalist Elizabeth Stokes , Guitar
Jonathan Pearce , Bass Guitar Benjamin Sinclair & Drummer Tristan
Deck . Meeting at the University of Auckland . the Band signed to Carpark
Records in 2018 where they have released the Studio Album ” Future Me
Haters ” ( 2018 ) their Second Studio Album ” Jump Robe Gazers ” ( 2020)
Their Third Studio Album ” Expert In A Dying Field ” ( 2022 ) Elizabeth
Stokes & Jonathan Pearce originally met in High School , and they met
both Benjamin Sinclair & Ivan Luketina – Johnston when all four attended
classes at the University of Auckland studying Jazz prior to the Beth’s
Ivan Luketina – Johnson was performing Swing under the moniker of Sal
Valentine Stokes , Pearce & Sinclair were all part of his backing Band the
Baby shakes for various tenures . The Beth’s were formed in late 2014 &
released their First Single ” Idea/ Intent ” via Sound Cloud in July 2015 .
Stokes said she named the Band using her own name , after being inspired
by Gilmore Girls character Lorelai naming her Daughter after herself . In
March 2016 , the Band independently released their Debut Studio EP
spawned a Single ” What Ever ” which was re-leased with an accompany-
ing Music Video in May 2016 The Beth’s have received Financial support
from NZ on Air & NZ Music Commission . A New Single ” Great No One ”
was released in October 2017 . The Song was the First to be lifted from
the Bands Debut Studio Album ” Future Me Hates Me” prior to the
Albums release in 2018 , the Band announced their Signing to Carpark
Records in the US. ( Who also reissued ” Warm Blood ” Internationally
& to dew process in Australia the Album was released Globally on 10th
August 2018 followed by an International Tour supporting the release .
The Tittle Track was nominated as one of Five Finalists for the 2018
Silver Scroll Award in New Zealand . In Early 2019 , The Band under-
took a Tour of the UK & Europe supporting Death Cab For Cutie .Origin
