Julie Wolfe ( Born December 18th 1958 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania
Is an American Composer & Professor of music at New York University.
According to the Wall Street Journal , Wolfe’s music has long inhabited
a terrain of it’s own , a place where classical forms are recharged by
receptive patterns of minimalism & the driving & the driving energy of
Rock . Her Work ” Anthracite Fields ” & Oratorio for Chorus & Instruments,
was Awarded The 2015 Pulitzer Prize for Music . She has received the
Herb Albert Award ( 2015 ) LIFE Born in Philadelphia . As a teenager
she learned to play Piano but only began ti study Music seriously after
taking a musicianship class at the University Of Michigan , where she

PVRIS is an American Pop Rock Band formed in Lowell Massachusetts
in 2012 ( Also Pronounced PARIS ) following several Line Ups changes.
The Band is now composed solely of Front Women Lynn Gunn . PVRIS

HISTORY. Formation & Early Releases ( 2009 – 2014 ) The Act was
Formed as a Band in Lowell Massachusetts 2009 under the name
Operation Guillotine they were originally a Metalcore Band consisting
of Five members with Kyle Anthony performing Vocals . Their Line Up
soon changed to Vocalist & Guitarist Lynn Gunn ( Born Lyndsey
Gunnulfsen , Alex Babinski Guitarist , Brian Mac Donald Bassist &
Drummer Brad Griffin . On March 26th 2013 PVRIS released their
Self -Titled EP. The Sound was described as Post Hardcore . They
Played sporadic Shows through the spring including a Mini Tour with
Love Robot . Musical Style all Music Biographer wrote in 2015 that
the Group ” Blends dreamy Electronica with Dark Beat -Heavy Rock.
Rob Syce of Rock Sound described their sounds as a combined mix-
Ture of ” Dark Electro Pop & Stadium – Sized Rock ” Metro described
them as an Alternative Rock Act that fused Electro Pop , Pop , Post
Punk Hardcore , Psychedelic & Synth Pop . Their 2019 EP. Hallucina-
tions has been has been described as EDM , Alternative Rock , All Pop,
