Motion City Soundtrack is an American Rock Band formed in Minneapolis
Minnesota in 1997 . The Bands Line Up consists of Vocalist & Guitarist
Justin Pierre , Lead Guitarist Joshua Cain , Keyboardist Jesse Johnson ,
Bassist Mathew Taylor & Drummer Tony Thaxton over the course of their
career the group has toured Heavily & released Six Studio Albums the
majority on independent label Epitaph Records . The Bands sound usually
described as Pop Punk & or Emo makes notable use of the Moog Synthesizer
Pierre mainly handles the bands lyrics which often touch themes of Anxiety ,
Alienation , relationships behaviour . The Group disbanded in 2016 , but
they announced a reunion in 2019 issuing their Seventh Studio Album ” The
Same Old Wonderful World on 2025 Origin Minneapolis Minnesota US .
